Beginner Project

Now it is time to put what you have learned into practice. In this project phase you will pick ONE small project and build it from start to finish. The goal is not to be perfect — it is to experience the full cycle: choosing a tool, giving it clear instructions, reviewing the result, and improving it.

You can choose from three options. Option 1: Build an AI-assisted resume — use an AI writing tool to draft and polish your CV. Option 2: Create AI-generated images — use a text-to-image tool to turn a written description (a prompt) into pictures. Option 3: Build a simple chatbot using no-code tools — assemble a question-and-answer assistant with drag-and-drop platforms, without writing code.

For example, imagine a recent graduate in Addis Ababa applying for a job at a bank. She uses Option 1: she pastes her work history into an AI tool and asks it to write a clear, professional summary in English. She then checks every fact, fixes wrong dates, and removes anything that is not true about her — so the resume is both polished and honest.
