11.4 Zapier

Zapier is one of the most popular no-code automation platforms. It connects thousands of apps using simple 'if this, then that' rules. Each automation is called a Zap: a trigger starts it, and one or more actions run in response.

TriggerActionDone
A Zap follows an 'if this, then that' path: one trigger, then a chain of actions.

For example, an online seller in Ethiopia could make a Zap: 'When a new order arrives in my store (trigger), add a row to Google Sheets and send me a Slack message (actions)'. It runs automatically every time, day or night.

Scenario

You only want a Zap to act on orders above 1000 birr, not every order. What feature should you use?
