Travel and holidays

Last summer Sara and her brother Dawit travelled from Addis Ababa to Bahir Dar for a short holiday. They did not fly, because the tickets were expensive, so they took an early bus and arrived in the afternoon. When they reached the hotel, Sara went to the reception and booked a double room for three nights. The friendly receptionist gave them the key and told them that breakfast started at seven o'clock. On the first day they walked by Lake Tana, hired a small boat, and saw the famous old monasteries on the islands. In the evening they tried fresh fish at a restaurant near the water and drank buna while they watched the sunset. The next morning Dawit bought some gifts at the market for their mother, and Sara took many photos of the blue water. They did not want to leave, but on the last day they packed their bags, paid the bill, and caught the bus back home. It was a wonderful trip, and they often talk about it when they drink coffee together.
