1.25 The Present Tense (Le présent)

The present tense ('le présent') describes what is happening now or habitually. Regular '-er' verbs (parler = to speak) take these endings: je parle, tu parles, il/elle parle, nous parlons, vous parlez, ils/elles parlent. Learn the pattern once and it works for most verbs.
