1.9 Days of the Week (Les jours de la semaine)

The French week starts on Monday: lundi, mardi, mercredi, jeudi, vendredi, samedi, dimanche (Monday → Sunday). Days are not capitalised in French. 'le' before a day (le lundi) means 'on that day, every week'.
