1.11 Numbers (Les nombres)
Numbers ('les nombres') matter for age, dates, phone numbers and prices. A start: zéro, un, deux, trois, quatre, cinq, six, sept, huit, neuf, dix (0–10), then vingt (20), trente (30), quarante (40), cinquante (50), soixante (60), cent (100). The final 's' in 'nombres' is silent — it only marks the plural.
