An AI strategy is a clear plan for how a business uses artificial intelligence to reach its goals. It is not about chasing the newest model, but about choosing the few problems where AI creates real value, and aligning data, people, and budget behind them.
For example, a bank in Addis Ababa might decide its top AI priority is detecting fraudulent transactions, rather than building a chatbot first. That choice flows directly from its biggest pain point: money lost to fraud.
