1.3 Numbers 21+ & Ordinals (Los ordinales)

Above twenty, numbers combine: veinte (20) + uno → veintiuno (21), then veintidós (22), veintitrés (23) … up to veintinueve (29), then treinta (30). The tens continue: cuarenta (40), cincuenta (50), sesenta (60).

Ordinal numbers ('los números ordinales') show order or rank: primero (1st), segundo (2nd), tercero (3rd), cuarto (4th), quinto (5th). Use them for floors, dates and sequences.
